# Message: solved #3859 (post on Algora bounty page)
Hi, I've built a complete, tested solution for #3859. It adds a "Paste a config"
flow that pre-fills the Add Server form from any common MCP config format
(
mcpServers, VS Code servers+inputs, bare object/array, docker, and theofficial registry
server.json), and makes the Arguments field accept a JSONarray. It reuses the existing catalog-import path, has 16 unit tests, and passes
type-check, biome, and knip.
Code is on my fork:
I can see PR #6642 is already open and the issue looks assigned, so I don't want
to step on an active attempt, and I couldn't open a PR anyway because the repo
restricts interactions to prior contributors. Is the bounty still open? If it's
taken, no problem at all, I'll point this work at another issue. If there's room,
I'm happy to submit however you prefer.
