@user Hi Archestra maintainers, I’m Yein. I saw your post on Hacker News. I’ve also been experimenting with a PR-based CAPTCHA tool for filtering out similar kinds of slop. I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look and share any feedback: https://github.com/Maintainer-Ally/opencha The idea is to present a visual challenge in a GitHub comment. It uses multiple animated GIFs arranged in a table layout, so the challenge has to be solved by understanding the combined visual view. Because of that, it should be quite difficult for automated agents to solve reliably. I’ve also built a GitHub app called GET OUT SPAM, which is aimed at filtering spam comments: https://github.com/Maintainer-Ally/get-out-spam I’d be curious to hear whether tools like these could be useful to you, or to the open source ecosystem more broadly.
